An index to Saul's board

Saul asked me a couple of weeks ago if I could do an index to his board, like I have done for various SA boards. At the time I couldn’t do it because I wasn’t including any public boards in my indexing. It turned out to be a little more complicated than I thought, plus my genius programmer has had to focus on other things, like finding a new job.

Anyway, here it is:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ao6k6uddFL1QUoTzKUAZ…

The spreadsheet has a complete listing of all posts through 3/21/2015 at about 3:30. I’m not sure why it’s not more current than that.

You can filter by Author, # of recs etc, and there is a link to the original post.

Enjoy.

Thanks so much John, but how do you filter by author, # of recs, topic, etc??? For those of us like me who aren’t so technologically clever…

Thanks again,

Saul

Amazingly detailed index! Thank you, John. That took a lot of time and work and we are all indebted to you.

You don’t filter, you sort.

Saul:

To filter, Choose Data … Filter.

I have just done that, so I think it should appear on the sheet for everyone. I did it starting with row 2, so you should see little drop down arrows in each cell of row 2. Click one, for example Author, then select Clear, and type in the first few letters of the Author’s name and you should be able to select it.

This is awesome John! Thanks very much.

All, you can hit Control-F to find any word or phrase, and as you hit return after that it will go to the things that were found one at a time. It will also tell you how many instances of the phrase were found (e.g. AIOCF, 87 entries).

The only catch is the thing you are searching for must be in the title - it does not search the body of the post.

I updated the index this afternoon to bring it up to today. I’ll probably update it once a month or so going forward.
