But I’m surprised that would move it 20%. It’s 2 or 3% of the float, though. Not chump change.

My thoughts on this now-28+% single-day pop for Appian can be found elsewhere within Fooldom. Many here can probably access that location.
I will say nothing else of it here, but I will provide the following link and state that $53/year is complete chump change compared to potential value that can be gleaned if one intelligently uses the service for what it provides as a source of information. Combining multiple sources of information is key.

I used to write software (now they call that “hand-coding”), but I had never heard of low-code, either. It lets you write an application with a graphic user interface (GUI). The same thing happened with building web pages, which used to be hand coded in HTML, but now it’s done quicker and more easily with a GUI.

When small stocks are recommended, they do tend to jump, that catches the eye of the market and chartists can pile in. A gene-splcing stock was recommended on a Friday night and I suspected it was going to take a large jump Monday. I found out too late on Friday but I put in a larger than average order for before hours Monday and it hit. Sure enough in the open market it really moved.
Fortunately I was in Appian thanks to Tom’s note on this board along with some other good write-ups. Got lucky on the timing, now I have a cushion.
