"Now, according to comparison site TradingPlatforms, Apple Pay is the second most popular digital payment system, beaten only by Visa. The latter, which takes the top spot, processes around $10 trillion in transactions a year, compared to more than $6 trillion for Apple Pay.
This means that for the first time, Apple Pay as a whole – including Apple Card – has overtaken Mastercard, which processes around $4.8 trillion in transactions. Apple Pay also matched Alipay, which reportedly handles exactly $6 trillion in transactions."

I was a bit more impressed by the recent statistic that, in the US, the iPhone market share among active smart phone users has passed 50%: more than all others combined.
There’s still a long way to go to reach that in many other countries, but then nobody wants to hear that the growth is over–we’ll wait.
Globally, the number of people who paid service fees to Apple last quarter was more than twice the number of subscribers of Netflix and Disney+ combined.

For sure. They are taking share from Android which is interesting given the price premium of Apple products.
