A little perspective

Thanks for the perspective. We all need it during weeks like this.

I’ve been a Fool since 2013 and it has changed my life in many wonderful ways. And the hard truth is that the past two days have been brutal for my net worth. And my investment returns are still beating the S&P by 61% since 2013 when I joined, even after the beating they’ve taken this week.

So I picked up a few bargains (spent most of my cash in February’s tumble, so not a lot to play with) and will Fool on. If in the unlikely event the market doesn’t recover after this week’s drop, it set my retirement date back a year or two, but it is still a significantly sooner and more comfortable retirement than it would have been before I became a Fool.
