From the Monday morning rules:
“One-line posts rarely add anything significant to a stock discussion but fill up the board. Posts which just rank stocks on some statistic usually don’t add anything either (we are looking for discussion of individual companies, not lists).”
Here are two really obvious examples just in the last couple of hours that break the one-liner rule:
“Impressive and wishing you all the best for 2021.”
“My Shopify position is up over 2200% in that same time frame. Stock picking works!”
While intention behind these little missives is benign, they really do make it more difficult for the hundreds (maybe thousands) of board readers to separate the signal from the noise.
