# AAPL all over the place after earnings

AAPL closes around 178, then after earnings spikes up to around 182 then quickly drops to around 173 and now trading at a loss of around 2.00. I think that a lot is going to depend on the discussion and resulting guidance.

Addendum: Closed lower after hours. 171.57. This could be the second time AAPL beats on top and bottom but gets clobbered. AAPL arguably started the current downtrend starting in August. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Pretty normal situation, as I’ve seen over the years, with good news, it falls… Takes a while for it to be digested…
