Given that AARP gets $1 Billion/year in “royalties” from Medicare Advantage insurers (the majority from United Healthcare), I’m not sure the endorsement is worth much. AARP recently got a $9 Billion advance on the deal from United Healthcare. I’m guessing it’s not in AARP’s interest to spend much time looking for Medicare Advantage fraud.
