Adopting Saul's style

I’ve been following Saul’s board for a while now. While most of the stocks discussed here don’t interest me I’ve decided to adopt Saul’s more proactive trading strategy. While I don’t hold as long as some MF portfolios do, I have been slow in recognizing losers, usually giving them more time (or too much time) to prove themselves.

Thanks Saul, it is a big help!

Thanks Denny, one way I deal with it is to try to think of it not as betraying an old lover, but remembering that stocks aren’t people and don’t have any feelings about whether I sell them or not. I think of it as recognizing an error, or recognizing that conditions change for all businesses.
Best,
Saul

I guess, in other words, you don’t have to have loyalty to a stock.

Don’t fall in love with your stocks 'cause they don’t love you back!
