I have a Fitbit.
Google bought Fitbit back in 2021 or so, and has apparently been integrating it into Google Health.
On Monday, I got an update to the Fitbit app, changing it to Google Health.
When I opened the app, I was presented with a list of things to “check box” that would allow Google Health app to access all things “ralph’s health”.
Including test results and data history etc.
This is very close to the “one stop shop” I’ve been watching for.
And, it’s Google.
And Gemini LLM.
Some experts a while back recommended using a LARGE, WELL FUNDED platform with an established ability, resources, and expertise to safe guard your data (see @jaagu post about 23andMe data breach).
Google Health also wants access to my email, spreadsheets, docs, photos, location, etc.
