AMD (AMD) added significant positions in Elon Musk’s SpaceX (SPCX) and Nutanix (NTNX) by the end of the second quarter, according to a Form 13F Holdings Report it filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.
The company purchased 4.1M shares of Nutanix and 3.3M shares of SpaceX. It added 200K shares of Xanadu Quantum (XNDU) and 794K shares of the AI chipmaker Cerebras Systems (SBRS) as well.
The filing also revealed AMD retained 5.7M shares of Absci (ABSI) and 1.15M shares of Sanmina (SANM).
In addition, AMD sold approximately 7,300 shares of Marvell (MRVL). AMD owned about 65,000 shares of Marvell at the end of the first quarter of 2026. Marvell shares have surged 161% year to date…
Intriguing – which would have been more unthinkable 10 years ago… SpaceX becoming a (would-be) trilion dollar AI powerhouse, or AMD (around $7 a share 10 years ago) buying a hefty slice of that pie?
