Well I suppose that given Samsung’s foundries, AMD has to give them a try. Hopefully AMD are aware of Samsung’s propensity to ignore patents and use them without consent.
My understanding is that Nanoco have not settled with Samsung, they have halted proceedings for now.
Nanoco seems to have some useful technology to permit Cadmium free display screens, so called quantum dot technology.
Interesting that the date of the Reuters article is the same day as the Tom’s hardware srticle. Perhaps Samsung are trying to dress themselves up for AMD
