Most people do not understand that we are having some terrible storms across the country. Sarah Huckabee had to call out the national guard.

Where is the Whitehouse?
Funny you do not hear the White house talking about this. It’s not just Arkansas.

This should not surprise anyone. He believes states should help themselves. It’s an awful stance for a federal official to have, but here we are.

The media shrieks “severe weather” every day.
Meanwhile, TIG “won” the tournament at his golf club. …so much “winning”…

Some large parts of Tennessee got 12 inches of rain in 3 days. I don’t know about Arkansas, although I do know they had multiple tornados and there were reports of some locales in Kentucky and elsewhere getting over 15+ inches in 4 days.
That’s worth “shrieking” about. 24 people were killed by the weather, and that makes it a news story.

If the media didn’t shriek, every day, about every possible weather system, anywhere near the country, and, if something does actually happen, rehash it every day, until the next weather system they can shriek about starts to form, people might take more notice. As it is, we are so bombarded with hype and hysteria, that it doesn’t penetrate anymore.

I guess it must depend on what part of the country you are in. I am in the Desert and we haven’t heard much about it. Or maybe I am not watching enough news?
It’s hard to miss. All of the three major broadcast networks, ABC, NBC, CBS, shriek about the weather every day on their 6:30pm EDT program. It’s a routine part of the broadcast. Sometimes their weather hysteria invites mockery, like their howling “200 Million people impacted by winter weather” during the winter. duh!

Yes, I remember the day when they actually had news to report. Weather map is an easy time filler and does not require a remote. Very economical. Will it attract more eyeballs and bring more ad revenue?

They always have some lurid video to show. Thing is, they rehash a single event for days, to the point I start recognizing the video.
