Here is a book by a leading US probate lawyer/litigator that I just finished and highly recommend - “Death is No Excuse” by David Baker.

It is available on Amazon. It is a very informative overview of many estate planning areas - including many misconceptions. It is an easy and sometimes humorous read. If you are looking for a highly detailed, technical roadmap, then this isn’t your book. But, if you are just looking for some good common sense and lessons to learn from, this is it.

When looking for a book on estate subjects, visit your local library. They will have a shelf of them. Find one that fits your interests and level of detail, etc. Then buy the latest edition.

Its a broad subject. Some are basic. Some very detailed on subjects like trusts.
