Hi,
There are two files on my desktop that I want to delete but when I try to do so, it says that file no longer exists at that location. So if it doesn’t exist, why is it showing up!?
Will it be apparently visually there forever since it won’t let me delete it?
Any help?

Try rebooting.
It is also possible that midway through the deletion process something went wrong and you can’t delete the file. There are probably some free tools that can help fix this

I rebooted for another reason and now the files are gone without even deleting them again.
