The US military hasn’t operated with this kind of economic cost efficiency since we dropped those two atomic bombs on Japan in 1945 – or perhaps ever.
No wonder the Pentagon has $2.5 Trillion missing.

Ukraine has an alliance with Israel.
Peace talks with Russia are out the window.
Ukraine and Israel have moved toward a strategic partnership, united by the shared threat of Iran and its alliance with Russia. Israel has shifted from neutrality to providing defense technology and intelligence, supporting Ukraine against Iranian-supplied drone attacks. Both nations are engaging in diplomatic dialogues regarding defense, security, and technology.

I see defeating Putin’s regime quickly as a maximum possible payoff event. I just hope that if Ukraine pulls off such a maximal victory (more and more likely despite USA’s recent consistent treacheries) in such circumstances NATO celebrates not with military budget and tax cuts, but rather with a dauntingly difficult but valuable policy to help Russia and Ukraine and the ex-Warsaw Pact countries put their budgets into the service of the future….
Sigh.
Just like defeating the IRGC!

Technically speaking, we spent $2 billion on the Manhattan project (not inflation adjusted) and the two bombs killed approximately 300,000 people (including those who died later of radiation effects). That works out to about $6,600 per.
Gross, but you’re welcome.
I notice the 60 Minutes drone segment made no mention of the laser system to shoot down drones. What’s happening w implementation?
