Not much mention of Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling Company AG, a FTSE 100 company listed in the UK and incorporated in Switzerland.
At some point I expect to hear some sort of boycott-y noise against Berkshire because of their 9.3% stake in Coca-Cola…
Which in turn owns 23% of CC Hellenic…
Which is fully continuing their operations in Russia, provoking a lot of complaints.
A lot of the backlash is being aimed at KO, which no doubt has some influence, but isn’t quite the right target.
On a broader note, it’s not such a bad month to appreciate that Berkshire Hathaway, unlike most other very large companies, is overwhelmingly a US operation in terms of production and sales.
A long way from most shootin’ and sanctionin’.
With luck, the thread remains about how Berkshire relates to the war, not the war itself.

I can just see the boycott memes:
[jaunty jingle] MiGs go better with Coca Cola, MiGs go better with Coke!
