Chery is looking at local production, but we lack the info about the scale and “how local” Chery is considering. UK has drivers seated on the right side of the vehicle (left-side drive) while the rest of the countries (other than NI and Ireland) have their drivers seated on the left side of the car (right-side drive). I could see lots of common parts for most cars sold into the EU, so that makes sense (for Chery).
