Where are the deaths happening? The deaths mostly have happened in air raids. The targets were Hamas militants. The militants were sitting with their own children and wives.
How many Hamas militants have died? No one tells us.
How many non-Hamas family members have died? We do not know no one tells us.
More of the war now is a ground offensive which is more surgical. The number of children dying may have dropped significantly. The number of non-Hamas civilian deaths may have dropped significantly.
You can be born into a militant family of 15 children. There are crazy averages of children per family in that region. Both Jewish and Palestinian have the highest birth rates in the world.
Why did Israel focus on air raids? To save IDF lives. Softening up Hamas has made the ground offensive less bloody now.
Ukraine is a different situation than Gaza. Ukrainian children were evacuated to Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Romania, Slovakia and other countries. Gaza children are not allowed out of Gaza by IDF. Israel considers all the children as suspect Hamas fighters from babies through 18 years old.

It isnāt murder if it is self defense. I really do not understand why you condone what Hamas did. Every Palestinian should join Israel in going after Hamas.
But a prerequisite to anything like that is a working civil society, and the Arab states, USA, and especially Israel effectively gave up on that when Israel withdrew from Gaza without an agreement, leaving it to the most violent and vicious to control, only reentering it periodically to (as one commander put it) āmow the grassā in recurring violent suprressions. This was a policy with no vision nor conceivable outcome but the explosion of horrors that is now still unfolding.

The largest mass ethnic refugee exodus in Europe occurs after WWII in Eastern Europe where millions and millions of Ethnic Germans were forible removed from their ancient homelands in Eastern Europe. Over a million ethnic Germans were held in the concentration camps formerly used by the NAZIs to carry out the final solution. Half of thses ethnic Germans were murdered there.
This because Ethnic Germans were held responsible for supporting Hitler, electing hin and following him. Just in the same way Palestinians elected Hamas and carry out the orders of Hamas to end all Jewish life in Israel.
