What amazes me is that the film was produced for a budget of $2 million and it’s not even AI. They note that Elon Musk bought the rights to show it for free on X (nee Twitter) for a 2 day run. Musk is a marketing genius.

Sounds similar to the 2009 film “Law Abiding Citizen”
Mostly because the cops screwed up bigtime regarding a lot of the evidence.
The fact that this critically condemned movie has 94% on Rotten Tomatoes is almost as concerning as the decline of law and order in the US.
On a less serious note - Imagine casting a dude named Armie Hammer to play a vigilante dude named Michael Sanders…we are truly in bizarro land.
I think you may be right, and that’s a terrible thing. When law and order no longer protects citizens from injustice, vigilantism takes root.
He’s less of a marketing genius, and more of a xenophobic racist.
Vigilante justice is about all they have in common. Law Abiding Citizen is about a man who seeks justice for the men who killed his family. Citizen Vigilante is about a man who seeks justice against immigrant criminals and the woke left who are conspiring with Islamist extremists to destroy democracy.
The evidence is overwhelming. If the jury is hung, or he gets acquitted, it will be because he’s a sympathetic defendant.

Lots of 1 star reviews on IMDB.com and they make a lot more sense than the 10 star reviews. I don’t feel any desire to watch this.
