Climate Pledges Explorer

From policy ambition to real action, the IEA’s latest interactive database provides country and regional outlooks on climate commitments and net zero pledges

The Climate Pledges Explorer aims to facilitate the analysis of all mid- and long-term climate pledges made since 2016 of more than 190 countries by visualising the induced contribution of the energy sector GHG emissions for each target. It includes an up-to-date analysis of subsequent versions of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) submitted to the UNFCCC, along with an assessment of each government-led climate and carbon neutrality goal.

All the countries of the world are included in this database except for United States. All the big polluters like China, India, Russia, and Japan are in the database. The United States is the second largest polluter after China.
