The Atlanta Fed GDPNow real GDP estimate for 2026:Q1 has dropped to 1.6%, a very rapid drop from early March.

GDPNow was wildly off to the high side in Q4.

GDP growth was low in Q4, but in a bit of unexpected news, exports were also way down due to retaliatory tariffs.
Fourth-quarter GDP revised down to just 0.7% growth; January core inflation was 3.1%

Oops, double yowza.
