I’m coming out of lurking mode to give some perspective on this, with the caveat that I don’t know anything about these particular standards.

However, my experience with ISO standards is that they take a lot of effort for a company to meet, but they are often required by large companies before they will consider buying product.

So I expect that this opens the door for Datadog to sell to a wider range of large companies. Some of those companies may have been waiting for this certification before buying, so there may be a surge new orders — maybe.

Enjoy,
Brian

Well, I sure hope so! They sure need something to overcome this slump: their revenue was only up 85% last quarter.:grinning::grinning::grinning:

For a security company these ISO certs are table stakes. Good confirmation, but it would have been way worse if they could not be attained so good info all round.

Getting ISO Certs also makes it easier to sell to government agencies.
