Of course it does. The more objective an AI-driven search engine is, the more value it has to folks wanting to get information. Thatâs just common sense.
If I am going to pay money for the use of AI, I am going to want one that is going provide the widest range of information that is filtered as objectively as possible. Suppose an AI is programmed to not present information that would suggest the US suffered from racism. If I ask that AI to provide a summary of South Carolina grade school education in the 1950s, is there any possible way I could get an accurate response? I donât see how.
If I ask DeepSeek to compare free speech policies in China versus Japan in the late 20th century, how could it possibly provide an accurate answer if it wonât consider incidents like Tiananmen Square?
I think this is false equivalency but feel free to make the case. In what way do $GOOGL, $MSFT, $AAPL behave that is equivalent to DeepSeek not providing information embarrassing to China?

The old Berkshire gang used to be super focused on GAAP financials, CAPE and near term sort of numbers, and guess what, they have missed out on every transformational Tech stock in the last 20 years. The real irony of that crowd is they talk big on long-term holding, many were long-term holders of Berkshire too, yet never understood long-term holding when it comes to other stocks.
They were seldom correct but never in doubt. You can find such people everywhere.

Are you really serious? They found the issue only today. Do you know how buggy the first ChatGPT model?
Do you understand the shelf life of LLM is currently 3 months? So the next release might address some of this.
BTW, have you noticed the guardrails related to China are super strong!!!

I am an expert as well. I just earned my fifth online Ph.D. I spoke my mind during the exam.
I am now 104 and beyond being questioned online.
