I believe this is limited to the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14Pro models.
It just showed up on my XS Pro Max and I just finished doing the update…doc

The wife keeps telling me to upgrade to the new iphone because mine is so old. I tell her this one works fine and I don’t need a new phone. Then she says well then how about you get a new phone and give it to me and you take my iphone 12.
You just can’t make this stuff up…doc

Well - I did the same thing as your wife suggested. Awhile ago I bought a iPhone 13pro and gave Dh my older iPhone11 after finally convincing him to get rid of his 7- lol

16.1.2 can be installed, but according to Apple the Crash Detection is limited to the iPhones mentioned as I read Apple Docs.

It came up in my 11 Pro Max, a while back… Always good to stay as current as we can… If they didn’t want it applied, it wouldn’t be available without some trickery…
