ECB v FED

the headline basically saying the ECB is mulling things over.

That is interesting because for years the ECB declared its inflation target. That went by the wayside. I do not know specifically when. Perhaps others here do know when that happened.

The FED has begun to have 2% as the inflation target.

The difference is structural, the EU going towards supply side econ and the US going towards demand side economics. The roles are reversed.
