Keep in mind what was going on in the US in 2020: “it’s a hoax”, “no worse than a cold”, “Hydroxychloroquine will save us”, then it was “Remdesivir will save us”, then it was “don’t need a vax, it will go away by itself”, “don’t need to take any mitigation measures, Sweden is doing fine.” “everything will be fine by the end of March”, “everything will be fine by Easter”, “everything will be fine by Memorial Day”, “the economy will be rocking by the 4th of July”.
DoD propaganda against China, if such a program existed, was nothing but a minor vector of the program being fed to USians by their own government.
