If many of you are like me, befuddled by some of the new technology we are facing, I offer the following link which talks about 5G networks and edge computing. I suspect that this year will be the year we see this new technology take hold, as Apple and probably Samsung introduce 5G phones. These phones will only take off if networks can support the devices and the networks can only really take advantage of the potential speed, if much of what we need to do can be done on the edge. This article clarified for me many of the terms and potential applications. It seems to me that companies like Fastly can only grow in this environment. Hope you find this useful.
