The sweeping terms of the so-called House settlement include approval for each school to share up to $20.5 million with athletes over the next year and $2.7 billion that will be paid over the next decade to thousands of former players who were barred from that revenue for years.
So, will the universities put the bite on the students who are there to learn, to pay the “student athletes”, so the mob can have it’s circuses?
Maybe, if the universities dropped the pretense of being centers of learning, fired all the faculty and sold off all the buildings, except the football stadium, they would not need to charge the students so much to subsidize football?
