iirc, a Federal law was passed, in the 70s, supposedly to combat “drug trafficking”, that gives the Feds authority to nose around in people’s private financial activities.
How very “newspeak” of Congress to call a law that opens your private, financial transaction to government inspection, “secrecy”.
