I posted at the end of last week, but not on the fleet side. According to shipping broker Carriers, transactions involving some known names
- An LR2 from Torm (TRMD) sold
- A Suezmax from Teekay Tankers (TNK) sold
- Two MR2 from International Seaways (INSW) sold
- I want to say “MonteCristo” was a Cape owned by OceanFreight (managed by Economou’s nephew), that eventually got acquired by TMS/Dry Ships
On the newbuild side, it looks like a 2 + 2 order from Capital Maritime. On the vessel sales by various owners, not sure, but will venture a guess - possibly, meeting emissions is the reason for the sale??
