For AMZN stakeholders

Saw an interesting article while I was doing some reserach on IOT but the AMZN impact is huge if you read between the lines that AMZN is democratising and making gadgets cheaper

Somewhat related.
I saw on CNBC’s “Fast Money” a block about AMZN’s domination and a related discussion about whether AMZN was in danger of being classified as a monopoly. The argument went that what harm could the government cite that AMZN’s power engendered? AMZN typically lowers consumer prices and gives faster delivery. Besides that, they only sell other company’s products. Josh Brown said that under the covers AMZN finds out what is selling like hotcakes due to their sales data and then knocks off those products and sell them even lower. Josh looked up the data and came up with AMZN doing this with only 2-10% of their sales but that vertical is growing rapidly. I hadn’t heard this before but found it very interesting and an example of AMZN’s quest for sales domination. Bezo’s doesn’t miss a trick.

The link in Raj’s post seems to work.

AMZN now has 41 private label brands. Will be very interesting to see how much of the Bezos master plan diminishes and transfers the profit power of name brands to the AMZN P&L?

At the risk of getting OT, my apologies in advance.

As confirmed by Duude’s post 12579 on the SAS: AMZN Board, this trend has exploded.
