Fertilizer demand peaks in the spring, so they have some time.

Phosphates come mostly from the Tampa area of Florida. Nitrogen and potash (the rest of N-P-K) are readily available.

Phosphates are also found in the West especially in Idaho, but Florida is closer to much of the business.
