For those of you who may not be aware of Software Stack Investors by Peter Offringer, the most recent article which is called Hyperscalers, Friend or Foe
https://softwarestackinvesting.com/hyperscalers-friend-or-fo…
He discusses how the hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google) used to be headwinds for our companies, pushing their own versions of our companies’ software, and competing with our companies, but now have seen fit to partner with our companies, becoming a tailwind, with the hyperscalers seeing that our companies bring in incremental business, and that it’s impossible for the hyperscalers to keep up with their own versions of a million different kinds of software. He discusses examples of MongoDB (strong tailwind), Snowflake (medium tailwind), and Crowdstrike (small tailwind).
Brilliant article.
Best,
Saul
