I quit! Title must be at least 15 characters. You got it. Want more?

LD…Click on anyone’s icon in a thread and you’ll pull up their usercard - click their picture, and you’ll get something with a header like this - click Normal on the right and Mute will be an option (you can also mute users in your profile)

Is there a way to adjust the size of those icons when viewing topics in the Category display? Those buttons are super-tiny, almost impossible to differentiate from one another. So while the thread topic is quite legible, you can’t see who wrote the post or who’s been responding. If we could reduce the font of the thread title and increase the size of the poster buttons, it would allow us to see who the author is.

Hopefully you can see the image below, it is a screenshot of how I see my “Favorites” (Categories)

If you hover over screenshot, it should be able to be enlarged (click diagonal arrows) for better view.

I’ve clicked on METAR (so now bolded) which indicates 10 unread Threads & the # of unread posts (2, 2, 2,4 etc in each thread)

Hovering over the User Icons shows the User Names of each Thread (1st two are Ormont)

Hope that helps ??

If you read my comment, it is clear that I decided not to RE-post them.

I don’t think it’s helpful to have multiple copies in multiple posts on multiple boards.

Since the comments/problems were not addressed to you, but to TMF’s IT team - who, as far as I can tell - have already seen them - I don’t see any benefit in collating them here for you.

Albaby1,

Baby one? Really? LOL

Al, in the upper right hand corner, your avatar > click on it > the profile button at the bottom click on it > under preferences you get a lot of control over the format.

If you click the icon you will see a larger version.

I appreciate the comments - but my issue still remains. If I hover or click, I can get the name of the author in a readable format. But that really doesn’t help me when I’m trying to see which (or whether any) of the new posts that have come up are by authors I’d like to read. The icons on those pages are so small as to be literally useless - I’m not sure why they’re even there. So I was wondering if there’s a way to adjust their size in the display so that they can actually be legible.

Al,

Have you tried a different color theme for the interface? The contrast might help you.

Avatar > profile > interface > color scheme

There are four choices.

Leap1 - I don’t understand your instructions. Avatar > I don’t get anything that says “profile,” so I can’t get to “interface” or > “color scheme.”

thanks for any more specific assistance.

Hi Beginner,

In the upper right hand corner is your image that is the avatar > click on it > then the last icon is your profile > click on it > look for the “interface” > click on it > you will see you can change the color scheme. One of the different color scheme contrasts might prove very effective for you.

Andy, did you know they now allow you to edit your post, so now you can fix “your” to “you’re”

You’re welcome!

Hi Beginner,

My menu is slightly different. This may be because of web broswer or computer OS differences.

For me, I click my picture to find Preferences, which has Interface.

The board administrators have some control over the size of the user icons. But as a User, you cannot adjust it. You can play with your browser settings to Zoom the whole page, but it makes everything bigger, not just the icons.

Thanks - not the answer I would prefer, but it’s nice to know the answer. I probably won’t be able to replicate the type of display I found more useful on Boards 1.0.
