During the Iraq war, I remember reading of the morale problem caused by GIs realizing they were riding in a truck, to protect the truck and driver, and the contractor driver was being paid ten times as much as the GI. Seems it would have been a lot cheaper to forget the contractors and have the GIs drive, but…ideology says “must outsource”.

That isn’t “political” indoctrination. Just because you are training people to think differently so that they do something dangerous doesn’t make it political.

Interesting attempt to indoctrinate more people in the “replacement theory”.

Re: waste in tax money.

Don’t forget the tremendous waste in health care. A very costly system with mediocre results. And many uninsured or under insured.
