INFN: ZAYO Expands FTT Network

Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ZAYO), the global leader in Communications Infrastructure, today announced that the company will provide fiber-to-the-tower (FTT) to 78 new towers in Indiana to serve a major wireless carrier customer. The towers will be located on 234 new network miles south and west of Indianapolis and connect a corridor to Louisville, Kentucky. The sale will also leverage 350 miles of fiber that is already in place to create a diverse ring in this growing region.

This is double good news. Being long INFN, seeing a customer like Zayo grow means more revenues for INFN. But, if those towers come at least 70 miles south and west from Indianapolis, it would also provide a welcome upgrade to the rather spotty cell coverage where I live.
