Is Microsoft Playing Games?

I keep getting a message that I’m low on disk space and that MS want’s to update a program but can’t because of low disk space. When I check it looks like I have plenty of disk space. The disk is 1 TB and I have used 237 GB.

I am reading this incorrectly or is someone playing games?

It’s probably because that program has partitioned off a portion of your disk. What is the program? You might have to enlarge the partition.

Hi @ImAGolfer and @buynholdisdead,

If I remember MS-DOS/Windoze correctly, if a disk has multiple partitions, they will each be ID’d with different drive letters.

If the program is an older program, it might not recognize larger partition sizes. Not anything that can be done about that except update the program.

Does that help you?

I am thinking more along the lines of a partition on the main partition of a hard drive, not that type of partitioning Gene. Usually a program is fluid and will take as much as it needs but that is why we need to know the program.

My first thought is that it is not coming from Microsoft at all, which would be a Bad Thing. How is the message appearing? When? Where? Can you take a scree shot and post it?
