I’m facing a frustrating issue with my M1 MacBook Pro while using CapCut Pro. I’ve been editing a 4K video project, but when I try to export it, the final output has noticeable color shifts and banding issues, especially in darker scenes.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Exporting in different formats (ProRes, H.264, and HEVC).
Ensuring the display P3 color profile is selected.
Disabling HDR tools in the project timeline.
Updating macOS and CapCut Pro to the latest versions.
Despite these steps, the exported video doesn’t match the preview in CapCut Pro. I suspect it could be a hardware acceleration issue with the M1 chip or something related to the color management settings.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or knows how to fix this? I’d appreciate any suggestions to troubleshoot or optimize my workflow.

I don’t know a darn thing about the subject. But I did look up CapCut.
Have you asked the folks who wrote the software?
Have you looked to see if there is a user group or FaceBook page for folks like you who own and use the product?
Since this is free stuff, I would not expect much support from the creators, but you never know if you don’t ask.
Have you ditched the software version on your computer and downloaded another maybe different version? This also might help if the software on your computer has been corrupted.
I too know nothing, but when I googled it I learned that CapCut Pro is a subscription.
