Seems to be running on the ragged edge of extortion? "Antisemitism’ seems to be the new thing to bludgeon entities about. I was watching the Beeb’s coverage of the large number of countries who are condemning the manufactured famine in Gaza, last night, and I started wondering if I was seeing the same coverage in USian media, or if covering the famine, showing video of starving women and children, is now “antisemitic”, which would subject the TV network to government punishment.

We old phartz remember an older one. Nixon threatened to withhold highway funding from any state that did not enforce the 55mph speed limit. iirc, Nevada was the only state willing to forego free money.
This case is slightly different: extracting cash from Columbia, in return for restoring the grants.
