My wife wanted to watch it so I did. That was literally the worst boxing match I’ve ever seen.

And it was rigged. Jake Paul kept his hands around his belly. Tyson could have destroyed him at any moment.

I read that Tyson had squandered his first $400M and filed bankruptcy. So a fake fight for $40M is a pretty good deal. Maybe he can get a job as Director of National Intelligence now.

All I saw was the buffering circle of death. Anything else on Netflix streamed just fine. Any other streaming services were fine too. Sounds like I’m not the only one that had issues either.

I saw a lot of comments on X of people having buffering problems. I wonder if that is limited to areas in the US or US in general. It streamed flawlessly, if not counting the fight itself, on Netflix in Singapore.

I heard an interview with Mark Geragos (who used to be and maybe still is Tyson’s lawyer) that Tyson was “screwed over more than anyone has ever been screwed over” by boxing promoter Don King.

After the fact I read about a “hack” that some people used. Instead of streaming “live”, they delayed the start by a few minutes and had no issues. Guess everyone will find out come Christmas and two NFL games.
