KISS: AYX vs. ZM

KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid!

Please note that I’m not picking on anybody. My intention is to illustrate simple vs. complex because “complexity is the enemy of adoption.”

Fool CMF_muji wrote an 847 word post about AYX which he concluded with:

Pretty exciting stuff and good to see this presented so clearly by Alteryx. Too bad it is occurring smack dab in the middle of them having some sales issues during this pandemic. But long-term, this is a good move by the company and they will assuredly continue to execute well as they move towards this new vision.

Compare the complexity of an 847 word report about a lengthy corporate presentation vs. “Let’s Zoom!” In addition CMF_muji raises an important timing issue, “Too bad it is occurring smack dab in the middle of them having some sales issues during this pandemic. But long-term, this is a good move by the company and they will assuredly continue to execute well as they move towards this new vision.”

I think we should KISS our portfolios.

Note: Long ZM at 18.4%, second highest in portfolio, no position in AYX.

The funny thing about your post is AYX is all about keeping data manipulation simple. The are the kings of KISS in data.
