But, since you can’t understand Sutton’s blog, there’s no point in my trying to explain it to you. I guess you know AI better than he and all those AI developers who have taken The Bitter Lesson to heart.
Even your statement that “AI just a complex set of mathematical formulas that makes a function” is not accurate. It’s an oversimplification that ignores that AI can exhibit behaviors that were not explicitly programmed, as well as learn and adapt while in use.
Your (intentional?) conflating of “model” with “modules” also makes discussion difficult. For the AI would to “select the best model from a set of alternative models” what are you giving the AI as inputs? Code, implementation, output results, something else?
