Lost in the Shop angst

LGIH announced September closings: 542. 77 communities, absorption rate 7.04.

With the usual caveats of interest rates, economy, mortgage availability, looks as though we could be modeling 6900 closings for 2018. Last five months have averaged 577 closings per month. I’m looking for 5440 to 5640 closing for 2017.

LGIH up 3.49% which went a long way towards filling the SHOP hole.
