I was thinking of a few expressions
“Sell in May”
“Buy the Dip”, or its more vulgar cousin “Buy the F—in’ Dip”
“What’s happening?”

Definitely a roiling market.

So, in the midst of the market developments, Hohum’s plan is to “just do something”

  • Tech materials company Ferroglobe PLC (GSM) announced good results today (5/11) and gets a bounce - sell a portion.
  • Badly managed shipping entity Navios Maritime Holdings (NM) announces a positive move (debt repayment), and sells off, buy a small amount (5/10)
  • Dry bulk shipping entity Golden Ocean (GOGL) bounces after announcing that results are next week - sell some (That isn’t “sell on the news”, that’s “sell on the announcement that there’s news in the future” :slight_smile: )
  • Tumbling Fintech former darling Upstart (UPST) - An inner voice yelled “Don’t touch that one.” Seems like that one is toxic
