Medicare is on the table

Notorious Medicare thief and Republican Senator Rick Scott is the only one who wants to admit that his GOP colleagues are plotting to gut an essential health care program.

He can’t contain his glee and wants to be the first to crow about it. Republicans have long wanted to privatize Medicare to transfer that wealth to themselves.

The government weakens itself by giving up assets, for which it or its citizens have to pay much more. We can’t cut and destroy our way to fiscal health.

We need to tax the wealthy billionaires to support Medicare, Social Security, and all the necessary workings of OUR government.

Or the wealthy will own it all.

Raising the income cap on payments seems likely. Negotiated drug prices is a good idea. We should do more.

How else can costs be controlled in medical care? Squeezing providers is one way but then they stop accepting Medicare patients.

How about increasing supply of physicians? US Public Health Service or military opens a medical school. With low tuition and many scholarships!!

As suggested before, the way this administration rolls, the bias is in favor of denial of benefits. They can either cut everyone a bit, or find a means of tossing some people off of the program, like requiring everyone, including those already receiving benefits, to prove they are a citizen, or permanent resident.
