Our Part D provider sent us a bill payment booklet last week. It seems that somehow the automatic payment from our SS deposit got switched to us having to make the monthly payment via check, funds transfer, or credit card.
Has anyone else run into this?
Not yet, but I live in Mexico and it takes mail weeks to get to me. This fits with the other abrupt destructive actions I have seen this administration do with Social Security and its attachments, such as Medicare. Ending the (almost cost and friction free!) automatic payment to Medicare out of SS deposits, requiring regular prompt MONTHLY action by senior citizens, amounts to intentional sabotage masquerading asâŚ.. good governance? planned senicide?
Elections this year will not happen, or will see the destruction of the instigating party.

Of course I mean the USA; Mexico is now on a steady track of political and governmental reform.
My point was/is: the electorate has already been significantly âaWOKEnedâ by getting the current POTUSâs agendas done to them âgood and hardâ and incompetently, and polls show they clearly have not liked it. Not At All.
Adding to that already existing electoral anger, a reversion of both the social security system retireesâ health insurance from a shakily but functioning mostly electronic and digital system into an archaic mail and paper blizzard almost guaranteed to fail in multiple ways (beginning with just getting the message about the change from how we almost all do things nowadays to an archaic mess only us oldsters have ever known!)â and that will likely leave the voting bloc with by far the best record of actually turning out â oldsters â very upset; on top of the already existing anger around nearly insane levels of economic mismanagement.
And, if those now in power do not want to lose power (and lose change that seems to lie around near them), and incidentally avoid infamy and jail, then they will increasingly seek NOT to repeat Jan 6, but (with much better planning) to simply not allow normal elections at all.
Of course, they will claim to proudly lead the USA in the âthe greatest and cleanest elections ever!â, but to be protecting the republic from terrible people like meâŚ.

I have not changed one whit. I believe Trump did and would do anything to NOT lose the Presidency. I also strongly believe that he originally ran for POTUS slightly to attack and surpass Obama, but also because he was swimming in a very dark sea of both legal and financial investigations and problems and he was seeking some form of protective escapeâŚ.
I was and continue to be in that camp. The current guy knows if the house and senate move to the democrats he will be impeached weekly! And it will be the 2nd order of business after the swearing in of the new congress. He canât and wonât let that happen.

Why not? Impeached but not convicted seems not to have any effect. You think there is risk of conviction?
Iâm thinking there might be a chance to get enough changes in the Senate to make it possible. He wonât want to take that chance.

What Jim wrote. And, let us not not forget that Julius Caesar was confident in his control of the Roman Senate, and overlooked that there were a few people who were outwardly fully supportive of him, from ambition fear and dependence, but would jump at the chance to have him gone.
