A temporary cease-fire in the US-Israel vs Iran conflict was announced on Tuesday (04/08/26). Here are some numbers related to vessels in the MEG area.
- 426 conventional tankers (dirty or clean cargos)
- 34 LPG tankers
- 19 LNG tankers
- Dry bulk and container vessels
Will have to wait maybe a month or so, to find out whether any of the publicly traded tanker entities have/had vessels impacted by the conflict.
Separately, the folks at NAT provided a kinda fleet status - charters for six vessels (two of which occurred before bombing of Iran began)
