I do not understand the logic of deleting my Post about Trump’s $1.8 billion corrupt slush fund using taxpayer money. It is not off topic as alleged in the deletion because the all that money comes from taxpayers. Corruption and stealing taxpayer money is a Macro Economic concern to most taxpayers. Some other wealthy and powerful people are called out on this board when they are caught in similar corruption. Please explain your honest reasoning for the deletion of my Post.

@jaagu your post attacking President Trump was a political attack and would not affect the markets or Macroeconomics. That was why I marked it off-topic.

It would be on-topic for Macroeconomics to post about the administration’s tax or tariff policies since those do impact the Macro economy.

Corruption is rampant in the current Trump administration. The $1.8 billion slush fund is just one example. Studies have shown that corruption in government is not tolerated by voters, and those engaged in corruption will be eliminated from government. This change in government will have macroeconomic affects on new directions for the country, the government institutions, the companies, the people and the markets.

The bipartisan culture of political corruption in Washington is the most macroeconomic trend affecting working and middle-class Americans (retirees. too).

Imagine what we could have done with the trillions of dollars wasted on Middle East wars during my lifetime?

That’s a bipartisan statement so it isn’t partisan.

Partisan politics, such as naming a politician and party, is banned on METAR.

Shrewd’m has a political board, I think. @jaagu and other political types should take their rants there.

METAR is an investment board. My personal political opinion doesn’t matter. The board must be kept for investments and not for partisan politics.

The Shrewd’m political board is “US Policy.” The Political Asylum board is not very active.

Several respected posters here are active on the US Policy board.

Be warned, it’s not for the thin of skin, which is one of the reasons I like it. :grin:
