Am I happy? You betcha!
I can live with 25% considering all my mess ups. Super learning experience to be patient when having extra cash.
It was 33% YTD for 2017, which included moving half my money in during the year.

I guess my foray into pot stocks and China stocks can account for another 5% loss for 2018. Oh yeah, NKTR, NVDA lost a little for me.
I will have the same paycheck when I retire in 7 months(and 16 days) from just SSI and 401k from work. My 453k stock will just sit and hopefully swell in size. There is also enough cash set aside for 5 years of 2k a month which I have no need for. . .yet.
Not bad for someone that knows nothing about the stock market but is learning very fast thanks to Saul’s teachings.
