I recently had a Payee ship with the Catholic Charities, and for sixteen months was receiving my money. The SSI took sixteen months to Start sending checks to me. My new truck was repossessed.
My home of 17 years almost foreclosed by one month, before SSI started sending my checks this month. I had to discharge Bankruptcy, destroyed my Credit, and am 71, bachelor, poor health. WHY, did this happen? WHAT can I DO?

First off you did not fill out your rap sheet as to what makes you tick with your risk and management skills.
As a former Vietnam veteran serving in the U. S. Navy as an Illustrator Draftsman thanking you for your services which appear to be many.
Sounds like you do not have a Business Plan when it comes time to investing and saving and earning money via Dividends.
In your plan, you should let your money work for you and not the inverse. All that the Pied Pipers do is ask “whatz in your wallet”. Buy and be a HODLer (Hold on for dear life) and lose your money in the process.
Let’s start off with setting aside monies for dividends that pay you monthly or quarterly.

If your SSI checks are now coming in, great. Sorry to hear you had such a delay, and that the delay caused you a lot of financial problems. My advice is probably of no help now, but in case someone else is reading this thread, here it is:
From my experience, you can get a lot done when dealing with disputes with federal agencies by CONTACTING YOUR CONGRESSMAN/CONGRESSPERSON and asking for help, be it your senator or representative.
I did that twice in my life, once in 1986, once in 1993. I did not expect to get any help. I was overwhelmingly shocked when I did get successful assistance on each phone call.
